5.2. Micromotor and handle vibration level control (DENTAL VIBRATION LEVEL - DVL®)

We established a handpiece behavior verification system equivalent to ISO 10816 standard. This procedure is used to measure the vibration level in 0.5 - 6 kHz frequency range (operating micromotor and turbine speed).

5.3. turbine and micro motor bearing noise level (DENTAL NOISE LEVEL - DNL®)

On the basis of our system (Bearing Noise Level BNL®) we developed the equivalent methodology in the form of DNL® - Dental Noise Level. With this function it is possible to evaluate the dental turbine bearing condition. The usage of special processing system for high frequency signals in 15-50 kHz range renders the results in 0-100 DNL range.
